When does the Lansing City Council meet?
The Lansing City Council meets every Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. except for holidays. In the event that a City holiday falls on a Monday, then the City Council meets on that Thursday at 1:30 pm. All City Council meetings are located in Council Chambers on the 10th Floor of City Hall, 124 W. Michigan Avenue. The meetings are broadcast on Comcast, Channel 12 and online at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/lansing-city-council-meeting
How can I see Council meeting agendas and minutes?
Go to http://www.lansingmi.gov/clerk/ and click "City Council Meetings" on the left.
Can anyone go to the City Council meetings?
City Council meetings are open to the public with the exception of portions of some meetings in which the subject of discussion warrants a closed meeting in accordance with exceptions provided in the Open Meetings Act.
